Saving the Current View
You may wish to capture screenshots of a scene for use in presentations or on web pages, etc. You can do so by saving your current view at any time.
To save the current view:
- Arrange the scene so that the viewing area displays the view you want to save.
- Select

The ‘Save As’ dialog is displayed.
- Navigate to a location for the saved image and enter a name in the File name box.
- From the drop-down list
labelled ‘Save as type’, select the appropriate file format to save to and
click
Save.
The ‘File settings’ dialog is displayed.
- Select one of the three
Image Size options:
- Screen size – matches your screen settings.
- Standard size – select from the adjacent drop-down list of standard sizes and aspect ratios.
- Custom size – enter custom dimensions and then select one of the three aspect ratios, which define the relationship between the height and width of the image: Free aspect, Lock aspect ratio to 4:3, Lock aspect ratio to 16:9.
- If you are saving as a JPEG, you can also define ‘Quality Settings’ for the image. Use the drop-down list or slider control in the top portion of the dialogue box to choose one of the four settings (Maximum, High, Medium, Low).
- Click OK.
